concept / the beauty of imperfection
In today's world of oversaturation with unrealistic depictions of human skin, it is both a challenge and a responsibility to present human imperfections in a new light. Inspiration is drawn from the richness of textures and tones found in the earth. The perfect imperfection of the earth's surface closely resembles that of our skin. The interior design has been fully conceptualized, with ceramic objects serving as the key elements of the concept.

Process / the wisdom of the earth
After the interior concept was created, the base, neutral furniture such as tables and cabinets was first designed. Then, details that complement the earthy tones of the ceramic objects were chosen—an organically shaped mirror and an airy-designed counter in warm wood.
Following that, the physical creation of ceramic objects took place, which will be placed in the interior. Materials used were sourced directly from the earth. The process of gathering, processing, and later combining the materials creates an intimate connection with the clay, similar to the one we have with our own skin. In close collaboration with the material—from careful collection to final finishing—the objects acquire warmth that later exudes a unique magnetism in the space.

Ceramic objects / Ode to changes
In the clinic, there are three conceptual works displayed. Each piece speaks to a different theme, while all of them inspire a conversation about the beauty of human imperfection.
The first topic is skin depigmentation, which is often perceived as something unpleasant by the general public and can negatively impact the quality of life in various ways. Through 37 fragments, the loss of cells responsible for pigmentation is depicted, aiming to remove the stigma surrounding this process and to showcase its remarkable beauty from a different perspective.
Three circular wall objects explore the theme of stretch marks. Lines that appear on the skin when the body undergoes sudden changes—still a source of bodily insecurity. The wall objects represent skin of various textures framed by an almost “perfect porcelain complexion.” The warm tones of cracked clay within the objects contrast with the perfection of the porcelain skin, raising the question: what is more beautiful? ...is it even necessary to choose?
In the waiting area, there is a large mirror featuring a network of evenly arranged, different clay patterns that symbolize numerous changes on the skin. When a person stands in front of the mirror, there is no way to avoid the appearance of the pattern on their face or body. This serves to raise awareness about the importance of identifying suspicious moles or other skin changes as the most crucial step in prevention.
